Hidden Valley Springs

Hidden Valley Springs is a secluded and private resort naturally landscaped at the crater of an extinct forested volcano in Laguna. A natural botanical garden, it has superb irresistible natural thermal pools scented by exquisite tropical plants and canopied by giant ferns and century old trees.

Description

At one end of the valley is a rock wall framing a secluded waterfalls. Nature lovers will definitely enjoy a respite in this valley, either by spending time in its soda pools or simply taking a leisurely stroll around to commune with nature. Buffet lunch and snacks are served for the day’s visit at the resort.The resort is 72 kilometers from Manila and features cluster cottages for those who wish to stay overnight.

A private resort that boasts of virgin forests, century old trees, giant ferns, wild orchids, and a hidden waterfall which is a sight to behold.

Several natural spring pools are available for dipping to guarantee a well day spent. Meals include Buffet Lunch and Afternoon Snacks (Merienda).

Okoy (Shrimps and Bean Sprouts Fritters)

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg. Fresh Shrimps
250 grs. Tempura flour
300 grs. Bean Sprouts (Toge)
Seasoned to taste

- Take off shell and heads of the Shrimps.
- Keep about 20 pcs whole for toppings and chopped the rest about 1cm. of size.
- Add water to tempura flour to obtain a thick batter not fluid. Mix chopped shrimps.
- Divide bean sprouts in individual bowls to facilitate cooking.
- Fill in with the batter while you heat the oil in pan.
- Then pour the sprouts and batter mixture into the hot oil on medium fire to prevent from burning.

FOR THE SAUCE:

1 Tbs. Soy sauce
3 Tbs. Vinegar
1 Tbs. Water
salt and pepper to taste
Chili pepper if desired
1 clove of garlic (crushed)
Steps:

- Mix all ingredients.

Alcoholic Shot: Tequila Slammer

Ingredients:

1 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Mountain Dew

Mixing instructions:

Pour tequila into shot glass. Next pour in Mountain Dew. Hold your hand over the top of the glass and slam it down. The shot will change color. Take the shot.

Alcoholic Cocktail: Russianator Cocktail

Russianator Cocktail. A vodka-based cocktail that is both refreshing and invigorating - how the Russians keep warm! Relish our Russianator Cocktail.

Serves:

Preparation Time:
5 minutes
Cooking Time:
10 minutes
You will need.
·         25 ml vodka
·         10 ml Malibu
·         10 ml rum
·         10 ml cola
·         1 ice cube
·         1 rocks glass (or short glass)
Prepare the cocktail
You should start by adding one large ice cube to the rocks glass.
Into the rocks glass measure out and add in 25ml of vodka, 10ml of Malibu and 10ml of rum.

Finally, add 10ml of cola and serve immediately. A hearty drink that is sure to stir the passions within!
