As Cool As Zeta Cocktail. Expert cocktail maker Mauro Pisano shows us how to make an ‘As Cool As Zeta’ - a gin martini flavoured with cucumber. Experience our As Cool As Zeta Cocktail.
Step 1
You will need:
·         1 cucumber
·         1 tsp lemon juice
·         1 tsp Sugar Syrup , also known as monin gomme
·         2 Coriander leaves
·         50 ml Gin
·         some cubed ice
·         1 knife
·         1 chopping board
·         1 blender
·         1 cocktail shaker
·         1 fine cocktail strainer
·         1 martini glass
·         1 25ml shot measure
·         1 50ml shot measure
·         1 5ml bar spoon / teaspoon
·         1 measuring jug
·         some measuring spoons
Step 2
Chilled martini glass
Either put the martini glass in the freezer, or fill it with ice, add a little water, and leave it to one side to chill.
Step 3
Cucumber
Use your knife to finely peel half the cucumber. Leave a little of the cucumber skin on to give the drink extra flavour and a light green hue. Don’t throw all of the skin away - save a little to garnish the drink.
Step 4
Add the ingredients
Dice the cucumber and add to the blender.
Add 50ml of gin
Next, a couple of coriander leaves
Add one teaspoon of lemon juice
and one teaspoon of sugar syrup.
Step 5
Blend
Turn on the blender and blend for 10 seconds.
Step 6
Pour
Add the contents of the blender to the mixing glass.
Step 7
Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes
Step 8
Shake
Put the top half of the cocktail shaker on. Slap it down firmly to seal. Hold the top and bottom, and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
Handy Hint
When there is condensation on the outside of the shaker and it feels very cold, then it’s mixed.
Step 9
Release
Tap the side of the shaker to loosen the two halves. Release the top by rocking it back and forth.
Step 10
Double Strain
Open up the shaker and use the cocktail strainer and the fine strainer over the martini glass. Tap the fine strainer to encourage the drink through.
Step 11
Garnish
Add a little of the left over cucumber skin to garnish.
Serve

Step 1
You will need
·         50 ml light rum
·         15 ml Cointreau/Triple Sec
·         some ice cubes
·         30 ml lime juice
·         1 egg white
·         1 tsp caster sugar
·         mint to garnish
·         1 shot measure
·         1 mixing glass
·         1 strainer (or a sieve)
·         1 old-fashioned glass
·         1 bar spoon or stirrer
Step 2
Prepare your cocktail
Begin by cutting a lime in half and squeezing the juice from one half. Put the juice aside for later.

Next, separate the white of the egg from the yolk of the egg using both halves of the broken shell.

Now place a couple of ice cubes into the cocktail shaker.
Measure out and pour in 50ml of light rum and 15ml of Cointreau or Triple Sec.
Pour in the lime juice, add the egg white and 1 tablespoon of caster sugar.

Shake vigorously and strain into an old-fashioned glass.
Step 3
Serve
Garnish your cocktail with a sprig of mint. An excellent way to unwind at the end of a hard day’s work!

Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail. Learn how to make Gerry Calabrese’s Long Island Iced Tea. It was invented in America around the time of Prohibition and named ‘iced tea’ to disguise its potent identity. Delight in our Long Island Iced Tea Cocktail.

You will need
·         10 ml vodka
·         10 ml white rum
·         10 ml gin
·         10 ml triple sec
·         10 ml tequila
·         1 lime or lemon
·         some cola
·         some ice
·         1 long glass
·         1 knife
·         some straws
·         1 chopping board
·         1 cocktail shaker
·         1 shot measure
 

Spirits
Add 10 ml of vodka to a glass. Then add the same amount of rum, and the same amount of gin. Then add 10 ml of triple sec, the sweet orange flavoured liqueur. Lastly, add the tequila.
 

Lemon juice
Take the lemon or lime, whichever you prefer, and cut it in half. Squeeze both halves and add 50ml of juice to the shaker.
 

Ice
Put plenty of ice in the serving glass too. Fill the rest of the mixing glass with cubed ice.
 

Cola
Fill three quarters of the serving glass with chilled cola.
 

Shake
Press down firmly to seal, and shake vigorously over your shoulder for about 20 seconds.

When you see condensation on the outside of the shaker and it feels very cold, you know that the cocktail is thoroughly mixed.
 

Release
Release the top by rocking it back and forth.
 

Strain
Strain the spirits into the serving glass.
 

Garnish
Add a lemon wedge to the edge of the glass, a couple of straws to the drink, and serve.

Preparation Time:

 You will need
·         50 ml vodka
·         150 ml orange juice
·         25 ml peach liqueur
·         1 dash grenadine
·         1 cherry
·         ice cubes
·         1 50/25ml measure
·         1 knife
·         1 chopping board
·         1 cocktail shaker
·         1 strainer
·         1 highball glass
·         1 straw

Prepare the cocktail
Add 3 ice cubes to the cocktail shaker, followed by the vodka, peach liqueur and orange juice.
Put on the lid and shake well.
Tap the lid to loosen it, remove and attach the strainer.
Add 3 ice cubes to the highball glass and strain the cocktail over the ice.
Finally, add the dash of grenadine.
Present the cocktail
Slice a groove in the bottom of the cherry and place it on the side of the glass.
Add the straw and serve.

It was tina’s 30th (binuking daw ba) birthday, celebrated at pansol laguna last August 27 and 28. Almost 24 hrs kami sa private pool. I was really excited for my kids.. lalo na kay ate aishen, cause she really loves playing on the water..si jam naman, who just turned five months that day (27th), nakipagsabayan din… she was in the water with her lola for more than an hour… buti na lang hindi sinipon..Anyway, the party ended 5 in the afternoon.. ok lang kahit pagod, nag-enjoy naman. May follow-up party yata sa pansol this December… di ba Pat?

we paid P5,500 for the 24 hrs rent of that private pool (villa amparo). It’s located at calamba laguna, turn left after the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church. Madali lang naman hanapin. I think it’s more expensive pag ngayon summer kayo mag-rerent. Nyways, the place is so cool, clean and really affordable. Most of the rental of private pool kasi sa pansol cost around P5,000 to P15,000 pero usually 12 hrs lang. But at Villa amparo, 24 hrs, so di ka talaga magmamadali, relaxed talaga. With regards to contact number, i’ll ask my friend, kilala nya kasi personally yung contact person dun sa resort…

With off-peak rates of around php4,000 to php5,000 and peak seasons at around php7,000 to php12,000 you and your friends can have a place where you can sing to your heart’s content or play billiards.  And of course indulge in the pool, where the excitement is.  These aren’t just swimming pools these are hot-springs.  Though not all are natural hot-springs they are still hot enough to set the mood… the party mood for an all-nighter drinking spree.

Laguna might just as well be dubbed as the “Resort Province of the Philippines” because of the abundance of hot springs, lakes and waterfalls. This is attributable to the fact that Laguna is the only province with ground water that flows at 300 million gallons a day.

Laguna has much to offer, having been successfully able to preserve most of its rustic beauty and appeal despite the level of industrialization that it has achieved. It managed to blend the best of both the agricultural and industrial worlds. It offers a convenient alternative for those who want to relax without going too far. It is a one and a half to two hours drive from Manila.
